The Milkweed Family

Isaac Spicer
Isaac Spicer has been cooking professionally for over sixteen years--much of the time in southwestern Wisconsin, where he was born and raised. He has been fortunate to work with many local luminaries, ranging from the world-class instructors at the American Club in Kohler to Odessa Piper at L'Etoil in Madison. Isaac was the private chef for the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin in Spring Green and at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona, and worked as a corporate chef for Madison's Sub-Zero & Wolf. He has extensive catering experience and specializes in signature outdoor events. In addition to developing his own locally grounded seasonal approach to cooking, Isaac has traveled extensively in Europe and South America, finding inspiration from local culinary customs and traditions at every stop.
